My Passport Stamping Timeline
The feeling is truly overwhelming when you opened your Gckey account and have found out that your application was approved.
Blantantly, passport stamping is the next automatic stage to justify your approval. The visa that will be stamped on your passport is your gateway to your place of work or study. If you are currently confused on the steps and the requirements to prepare and to send to the Embassy of Canada, this is the guide for you. I won't keep you waiting, let's dive right into it!
WHAT’S NEXT AFTER APPROVAL?
I chose the One-Way Courier with SMS service option so that I will be notified regarding every update about my visa.
🍁Manager’s cheque process at BDO- Salawag = ₱ 50
🍁 LBC shipping to CVAC - Manila = ₱ 187
Total : ₱ 734
Note: The amount may vary regarding on what to exactly include in the manager's cheque. So, what I have shown below is suitable to single applicants ONLY owing that I am a single student permit applicant.
Upon receipt of Passport Request Letter via GCKey:
1. Went to our bank and requested for Manager’s Cheque
🍁Processing: 20 minutes
🍁Paid: ₱ 547 pesos (cheque amount of ₱ 497 + processing fee of ₱ 50)
🍁Payee: VFS Services Phils. Private Inc.
🍁Address: 29F The World Centre, 330 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. Bel-Air, Makati
🍁Amount: ₱ 547
🍁Purpose: Payment of passport shipping fee
2. Put all the documents below in a sealed envelope.
🍁 Passport
🍁 Passport Request Letter (can be found in your GCkey)
🍁 Manager’s Cheque
🍁 VFS Consent Form (Print pages 1,2,4 only) -
Note: Fill out all the blanks in page 2 and sign all the specified spaces under the option: “Applicants wishing to provide biometrics”.
3. At the back of the sealed envelope:
🍁 Upper left corner, we indicated the following info:
🍁 SP’s name
🍁 Address
🍁 SP's mobile number (at least two)
🍁 SP email address
4. Go to LBC and ship the parcel (Paid: ₱ 187.00) to:
Canada Visa Application Centre
29th Floor The World Center Bldg.
330 Sen. GIl Puyat Avenue, Makati City Philippines

My Passport Stamping Timeline in 5- working days:
🍁 January 11, 2022 : Received application approval.
🍁January 13, 2022 : Sent the sealed envelope with documents via LBC
🍁 January 14, 2022: VFS received our parcel and shipped it to IRCC office
🍁January 17, 2022: My passport has been dispatched to the IRCC Office.
🍁 January 18, 2022: My processed decision envelope is on transit to the Canada Visa Application Center in CVO.
🍁January 19, 2022: My envelope was ready for collection at the Canada VAC in CVAC, Manila. Also, the same day that the decision envelope has been couriered from the CVAC back to their courier partner.
🍁January 20, 2022: I have received my passport with visa stamp! My gateway to start my Canadian journey!
